This is an annual event put on in Hill City, SD
The Western Heritage Festival
The whole event is built around the old days of the Hill
The parade is for horses and people walking only, no motorized vehicles are allowed they ask everyone dresses in western attire true to the old days
Afterwards they encourage people to travel through town with their horses
Maggie again awed everyone with her gentle, people loving personality allowing dozens of kids to ride her up and down mainstreet,
never bothered by the cars trucks and motorcycles whizzing by her
The festival was voted one of the top 100 events in the US to attend
